Rolled Leather Collar

This rolled leather dog collar is made from premium, full-grain 8-10oz Wickett & Craig bridle leather. It is among the highest end vegetable tanned leathers in the world. Located in Curwensville, PA, USA, Wickett & Craig is known for quality, durability, and rich finishes. The leather is drum dyed in a range of finishes then hot stuffed with waxes making this leather smooth and flexible with a waxy texture on both sides. The leather breaks in quickly and gets even better with age.

The hardware is high quality solid brass and the collar is hand-stitched using the traditional saddler's method with Ritza Tiger Thread in a color that coordinates with the leather. The edges are meticulously beveled and hand-burnished with Japanese Tokonole and premium edge paint that matches the leather color making the edges round and smooth. The result is a beautiful, soft, and durable leather collar that will last a lifetime.

This rolled dog collar is great for double-coated dog breeds. It rests in their fur comfortably. This collar will also look very elegant on short coated breeds as well!

Sizing: Take a cloth measuring tape or string and measure around your dog's neck. Measure around the middle of the dog's neck where their current collar sits.

Small: 5/8" wide, fits neck size 11"-15"
Medium: 3/4" wide, fits neck size 14"-18"
Large: 1" wide, fits neck size 17"-21"

Excellent quality and extremely fast shipping for such an item. I am extremely pleased. I an ridiculously picky on my leather colors and wanted something that wasn't too orange, but not too brown. I chose the 'tan' and wad blown away when I saw the color. I had been searching for collars for my Golden for almost 3wks before I landed on this one. I am posting a collage where the lighting is changing - the photos that are brighter are truer to color than the more shadowy ones. I have already ordered a matching leash!
