I started making leather collars and leashes for my two Australian Shepherds to use on hikes, during training, and at dog shows. I fell in love with traditional leather crafting. My goal was to make items that looked beautiful in the dog show ring, but was also durable enough to be used on adventures in the mountains. On April 3, 2012 I founded Mountain Trail Leather.

I focus on strength, beauty, and longevity when designing and crafting each item here in Colorado. I handstitch each product and use high quality, solid brass hardware with Wickett & Craig bridle leather. As a result, my durable products become even more beautiful over time.

I appreciate each and every customer that has supported me all these years. I love getting to know each and every one of you. Seeing photos of your pets and getting to know them make my day!
