This 4 foot long leather dog leash is made from premium, full-grain 8-10oz Wickett & Craig bridle leather. It is among the highest end vegetable tanned leathers in the world. Located in Curwensville, PA, USA, Wickett & Craig is known for quality, durability, and rich finishes. The leather is drum dyed then hot stuffed with waxes making this leather smooth and flexible with a waxy texture on both sides. The leather breaks in quickly and gets even better with age.
The swivel snap is high quality solid brass and the leash is hand-stitched using the traditional saddler's method with Ritza Tiger Thread in a color that coordinates with the leather. The edges are meticulously beveled and hand-burnished with Japanese Tokonole and premium edge paint that matches the leather color making the edges round and smooth. The result is a beautiful, soft, and durable leather leash that will last a lifetime.
