Leather ID Tag Collar

This leather ID collar is made from premium, full-grain 8-10oz Wickett & Craig bridle leather. It is among the highest end vegetable tanned leathers in the world. Located in Curwensville, PA, USA, Wickett & Craig is known for quality, durability, and rich finishes. The leather is drum dyed in a range of finishes then hot stuffed with waxes making this leather smooth and flexible with a waxy texture on both sides. The leather breaks in quickly and gets even better with age.

The O-ring is high quality solid brass and the collar is hand-stitched using the traditional saddler's method with Ritza Tiger Thread in a color that coordinates with the leather. The edges are meticulously beveled and hand-burnished with Japanese Tokonole and premium edge paint that matches the leather color making the edges round and smooth. The result is a beautiful, soft, and durable leather ID collar that will last a lifetime.

This ID dog collar is perfect for hanging identification tags from so you can use multiple different collars and harnesses without worrying about changing the tags. It is also nice for long-coated dog breeds to have a thin collar for identification purposes which will not break their fur. This ID collar is not for attaching a leash to.

BEFORE YOU ORDER:
Sizing: This collar is designed to slide on and off of your dog's head. Measure the circumference around the largest part of your dog's head and under the chin using a cloth measuring tape or string (see photo). Make sure the string is tight, but can still go over their head and fit comfortably on their neck. You may use half-measurements (example: 12.5"). Do not add any length to the measurement, I will add length to ensure a comfortable fit. Add your measurement into the customization field above.
