This leather turquoise ID collar is made from premium, full-grain 8-10oz Wickett & Craig bridle leather. It is among the highest end vegetable tanned leathers in the world. Located in Curwensville, PA, USA, Wickett & Craig is known for quality, durability, and rich finishes. The leather is drum dyed in a range of finishes then hot stuffed with waxes making this leather smooth and flexible with a waxy texture on both sides. The leather breaks in quickly and gets even better with age.

The O-ring is high quality brass or nickel and the collar is hand-stitched using the traditional saddler's method with Ritza Tiger Thread in a color that coordinates with the leather. The edges are meticulously beveled and hand-burnished with Japanese Tokonole that matches the leather color making the edges round and smooth. The result is a beautiful, soft, and durable leather ID collar that will last a lifetime.

BEFORE YOU ORDER:
Sizing: This collar is designed to slide on and off of your dog's head. Measure the circumference around the largest part of your dog's head and under the chin using a cloth measuring tape or string in inches. Make sure the string is tight, but can still go over their head and fit comfortably on their neck. You may use a half-measurement (example: 12.5"). Do not add any length to the measurement, I will add length to ensure a comfortable fit. If your dog has a very large neck, please include the neck measurement as well for a better fit. Enter the measurement in the customization field above.

Collar overall is beautifully crafted, and as a former equestrian & horse owner, I know the tack leather is durable & will last virtually forever. My 4-stars overall is because the “purple” color of the leather is not as pictured, to my eyes at least, which was disappointing since I was trying to match it to other items. The seller was patient, empathetic & kind to me when I messaged her to ask if the item was correct & give my feedback despite my words getting too strong.

The turquoise studded collar is beautiful and looks so handsome on our new family member. It's nice and light and doesn't get in the way of petting like most bulky collars do. Its made of a nice weight of leather and very well made. I'm sure it'll last a lifetime. The directions for measuring the dogs head were clear and it is the perfect size.

Owner was so sweet with my sizing worries...

Owner was so sweet with my sizing worries and adjusted my order. My boy is fluffy but I shave him down regularly so I needed to ensure this would fit him well with a short and a long coat. I measured his head at 16.5' (tight on the tape) and we ended up going with a 17.5' measurement for the collar. I'm so happy I picked the orange too, it's perfect, love this. Thank you.
